Popular with the Tehran 'jet-set' Dizin
is one of the two main ski resorts in the Alborz Mountains just
an hour and a half's drive north of Tehran.
The skiing and snowboarding here compares with some of the high
Alpine resorts or the American West - only a great deal less busy.
Snow conditions are generally favourable as the climate tends to
be slightly colder than in European resorts - but sunnier. Many
chairlifts are new, queues are either non-existent or very short
and pistes are groomed daily by the latest snowcats. There are 23
runs suitable for beginners to experts and the hotel we use allows
you to ski to your door.
